Mario - Just my opinion, but it really would depend on what you want to use it for. Make sure you check out auction sites to get comparative lowest cost and if you get a better deal (should be fairly good on a Citadel) within budget, then it may make sense. I buy really beaten up weapons and restore them, so if it is in reasonable condition, fits your hand, shoots fairly well and is within budget, probably a good deal. Maybe see if you can meet at a range (if personal transaction), or ask the dealer if you can fire it before buying, then you will know what you are getting. There is practically nothing you cannot fix, modify or upgrade on 1911s, either yourself (such as Duracoat or blue touch-up), or by professionals at a reasonable cost. If you want a competition type weapon, probably not the way to go, but if you want a fun 'plinker' and home defense weapon, I would suggest that price/value would be my only hang-up. I redid a nasty Rock Island and it looks great, hits a dinner plate

As long as it is in good condition, I say go for it. Some of the best personalities that make videos buy used all the time, just get them checked out. Awesome choice!!!!
