I have been told I can replace my 30" with this barrel for my Remington 1100 3" magnum and I will be able to shoot light load shells? It will currently shoot them but won't cycle (eject) them. I don't understand how changing the barrel will make it eject the shells if the chamber is too stiff for light load shells? One guy claims he did it and has shot over 2000 dove/clay rounds through it without a single jam and before couldn't even shoot it more than once. Can someone please confirm? Thanks

yes your 3 inch gun will be able to shoot and function with 2.75 inch shells with this barrel do not attempt to use 3 inch shell with this barrel installed (2.75 inch chamber) I shoot Remington 1100s in skeet and have done this many times. The magnum (3 inch) barrels have 1 hole for gas the 2.75 have 2 holes to allow more of the escaping gasses to be used in cycling the action  necessary due to the 2.75 shell having lower pressures
