Cast off' is when the centre line of the stock is to the right of the centre line of the barrels, 'cast on' is when the stock line is to the left. Right-handed, right-eye shooters usually have some cast off to bring their eye to the centre line of the barrels in a comfortable shooting stance. So, that being said, it would depend on your ability to adjust your line of sight?

Hi Troy and welcome. After some research, the Charles Daly has "Cast off" meaning, the stock's butt is tilted slightly to the right of the gun's center line. This is typically used for right-handed shooters. Cheers and stay safe!
