Hi Frederick and welcome. The magazine capacity is the only difference. Some states have 10rd capacity limit, some 15rd capacity limit ad others don't. They all are compatible with either capacity magazine. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Hi Frederick, there is no difference in the guns themselves. Some states, like NJ, are limited to 10 rounds. Other states, like Ill, are limited to 15 rounds. That is why they sell the different capacities. The magazines are interchangeable. Stay safe & have a great day!
