This is a newly manufacturer rifle Hobert. It should have all functioning features right out of the box.

While I don't have experience with this firearm I have a few rugers and have always been pleased with the quality for the price. You could call ruger and ask them what the turn around time would be if you had any problems with it but I'm sure it would t be months.

Hi Hobert, They're excellent firearms but there are better options out there.
