yes you can replace the Muzzle brake the barrel is threaded for 5/8x24 devices the rail is available on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Talley-Picatinny-Remington-700-721-722-725-40X-Action8-40/dp/B00HSJNHMO I know the link says Remington 700 series but it takes you to the Bergara rail
