Yes my question is about the breakdown of this weapon. It looks a little intimidating to do and put back together. Also what type ammo should I use. Its just going to be used at the range and for protection

The take down for 1911 can be a little scary (lots of good you tube videos out there)  at 1st but after doing it a few times it gets easy Millions on military learned how to do it from ww I until they went away in the 1980s I suggest that you use and good commercial 230 grain ball for around the 1st 300-400 rounds as a lot of 1911s need  a break in then I carry federal hydro shocks in my 1911 officers. Hi Randal, standard 230gr FMJ will work at the range. I would use quality 185gr to 230gr JHP for self protection such as MAGTECH 45ACP 230GR BOND JHP,  ARMSCOR 45ACP 230GR JHP,  Winchester Ammo HE45JHP Kinetic High Energy 45 or Remington Ammunition RTP45AP2 High Term. 9All of which Buds carries.
