Can you change out the trigger and also use a suppressor on this? Wasn't sure how interchangeable things were on SW AR vs other brands

Hi Mark, yes sir, like many AR-15 triggers, S&W is running with a Mil-Spec design so the trigger can be changed out.  
The barrel is threaded 1/2 x 28, so the flash hider can be swapped out for a suppressor.

Hi Mark and welcome. Yes, the Smith and Wesson has a swappable trigger (Most any AR-15 trigger will work) and the threaded barrel has a 1/2 x 28 tpi with removable flash hider to install a 1/2 x 28 suppressor directly. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
