Hi Gregory and welcome. No, an M&P Shield 2.0 slide is not fully compatible with an M&P Shield 1.0 frame; while you can swap some internal parts like the barrel, recoil spring, and sights, the slide release and extractor on the 2.0 are different and will not work with the 1.0 frame without modification. Hi Greg, The full size 2.0 works fine on a 1.0 frame, but the slide lock doesn't engage. The solution is to mill the 2.0 slide's notch larger (longer, really) to the same dimension as the 1.0. Putting the two slides side by side makes it easy to understand. Works fine as is, just won't stay locked back manually or on the last round. Stay safe & have a great day!
