The chamber described on the website says 2.75, 3in. Picked up my gun today and on the barrel says 2.75 chamber. No mention of 3 inch. Question is will this gun shoot 3 in ammunition or not?

The chamber described on the website  says 2.75, 3in. Picked up my gun today and on the barrel says 2.75 chamber. No mention of 3 inch. Question is will this gun shoot 3 in ammunition or not?

Hi Lawrence and welcome. This specific model has a 2.75-inch chamber. Some 2.75-inch will shoot 3 inch and most will not. Just see if a 3-inch shell will chamber and the breech closes. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Hi Lawrence, no sir, this is chambered for 2.75" shells and is for 2.75" shells only. The description on the listing is incorrect. You should have refused the gun and had your FFL send it back.
