I was curious to know regarding the Mossberg tactical 500 if the finish on the gun is Blued or is it something more weather resistant like Black Nitride or Melanite ? Could I shoot buckshot, including slugs out of this gun?

Hi Gary, it has a matte blued finish. It has a fixed cylinder bore so shooting slugs and buckshot will not be a problem. Use rifled (foster) slugs.
