Yes, like my Henry levergun gun, if it's chambered for .357 you can also shoot .38 special. Now with mine, it states the .38 sp rounds need to be 158gr. Full specs at Taylor's below. https://www.taylorsfirearms.com/1873-rifle-20-357mag-lc1-550173.html

Hi Brad and welcome. Absolutely. Any .357 Magnum firearm can successfully fire the shorter less powerful .38 Special ammunition including +p and +P+. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
