Hi Aaron and welcome. The grips are different, and the Standard has a Black Parkerized Steel finish, and the GI Entry has a Black Anodized Finish. The standard's parkerized finish is more durable. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Hi Aaron, the only difference is the wood grips on the Standard model. They both have parkerized finish. I am also reading that the barrel on the "GI Entry" is stainless vs. the "GI Standard" blued or parkerized, but I can not confirm that. Stay safe & have a great day!
