Seems folks are still having issues and from what I've been reading, S&W is pretty nonchalant about rectifying the issues??

at this time S&W has not addressed those issues here are the solutions i have found and used " If you find that your recoil spring will not easily fit back into the notch in the barrel, check where the front of the spring is and, if it needs to be moved back under the cap, take a small tool and do it. The recoil spring will respond as it should and you will easily be able to re-install the recoil spring as it should be within the barrel and slide." and for the mag use a Uplula mag loader the 9MM-44 double stack works great on mine https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/92562/maglula+uplula+universal+magazine+loader+fits+9mm-45+acp+black
