The primary difference between a Gen 1 and Gen 2 Walther Arms PDP PRO 9mm is the updated optic mounting system on the Gen 2 model, which features a longer channel to accommodate a wider variety of red dot sights, while the Gen 1 has a more limited optic mounting capability; other design aspects like the trigger, frame, and overall functionality remain largely similar.
