Tis particular model is not on Buds approved list link https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=2084_1153_1796&filter_id=369 But appears to be on the CA DOJ list oag.ca.gov/firearms/certguns?make=Sturm%2C+Ruger+%26+Co.I suggest you contact customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM EST Monday through Friday). and also ask a local FFL holder as CA lists are hard to tell for sure
