This pistol is on the Illinois banned list for a zinc frame. Some Walther rimfire handguns do. Not this one. Is there another melting point issue with this model that I am unaware of?

Hi Thomas and welcome. This is due to some of the metal inserts in the frame being alloy. Silly but, any way, to restrict firearms seems to be the staple of some states no matter how trivial the restriction. Plastic has a lower melting point than pot metal but, I digress. Cheers and stay safe!
