Yes, I just confirmed with the manufacturer specs for this UPC that it is indeed milspec and is not chrome lined (I read that chrome lined can hurt accuracy moreso than the nitride finish this has). This is a good rifle
It's a mil-spec rifle and is as good as any other. If you want the chrome lined barrel get it. I have a Del-Ton chrome lined and it shoots sub-MOA. But if you are not going to heat the gun up badly by sustained fire (like dumping several 30 round magazines) then standard barrels will last and the gun will be about $100 cheaper than chrome. Even better is stainless steel. it's easier to make into an accurate barrel and holds up well.
This is milspec throughout, not chrome lined and is comparable to the Bushmaster
