Hi Timothy and welcome. This will shoot +P no issue. Kimber 1911 LW (Lightweight) pistol is rated to handle standard .45 ACP ammunition, including +P rounds, although it's generally recommended to stick with standard pressure ammo for everyday use due to the lighter frame and potential for increased recoil with +P rounds. Yes it will handle +p ammo however it will increase wear and you should replace springs more frequently
