I bought the Alexandria arms Grendel 6.5
The mag that comes with the gun says 10 RD
But I can only get 9 rounds in it.. is that normal?

Let the spring loosen up some.

Hi Robert and welcome. This is Normal. Just leave it loaded with 9 rounds for a while and then retry that 10th round later. The spring is tight when new. Had to do the same for my C-Producs DuraMags: https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/110635/c+products+defense+inc+1065041176cp+duramag+steel+6.5+grendel+10rd+black+w+blue+follower+detachable ------------------- You could also try a magazine loader for extra pressure loading that last round. New Stiff spring. Load it up with 9, let it sit for a few days. Unload, then try getting all 10 rounds loaded In.
