Yes, no issues at all but, if it's like my Henry levergun in .357, It specifies to use .38 special with 158 grain.

Hi Jack and welcome. It will shoot 38 Special +P no issue. .357 is much more powerful and 38 Special +P will be milder shooting. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
