Hi Brent and welcome. Yes Sir it can. Cheers and stay safe!
Absolutely yes!!
Hi Brent, this is more geared toward gun-cleaning and basic assembly/disassembly projects. It may work for you (or may not), but if you already have a bench mounted vise, a better option is the BEV Block from Magpul. The BEV Block (Barrel Extension Vise) is an all-in-one, compact vise block tool for AR15/M4 assembly operations of barrel nuts, flash hiders, etc. It will hold your upper secure while applying the torque needed to install barrel nuts & muzzle devices. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/10473/magpul+bev+block+black+polymer+steel , There is a video in this link explaining how to use it >>> https://www.trex-arms.com/store/magpul-bev-block-ar-15m4/ Stay safe & have a great day!
