We can only go by the roster. Here is the roster *** https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/search?make=151002 *** Search the roster and you will not find the Ruger 5.7 Why does google it say it was added ? I don't know, I'm not in charge of google, but you can't believe everything you read on the internet. I think Ruger would know if they're gun was CA compliant or not. On Ruger's web site, it says not available in CA.
