Hi Gerrid and welcome. Google is not the CA DOJ Handgun Roster. There is plenty of misinformation on Google. This is the current active CA DOJ Handgun Roster: https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/search?make=151002 ------------------- It may be in the process of being added but, until it is, you can't purchase this in CA just yet. Feel free to check with any CA FFL Dealer for the most accurate local state gun laws (just search by Zip Code and proximity here): https://www.budsgunshop.com/ffl.php ------------- Cheers and stay safe!
We can only go by the roster. Here is the roster *** https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/search?make=151002 *** Search the roster and you will not find the Ruger 5.7 Why does google it say it was added ? I don't know, I'm not in charge of google, but you can't believe everything you read on the internet. I think Ruger would know if they're gun was CA compliant or not. On Ruger's web site, it says not available in CA.
all we have to go by is whats posted online I suggest you check with your local FFL for the most current information
