I was wondering, I was notified via email that my gun had arrived at the FFL dealer, I tried calling them and they told me they were inspecting my gun, how long does that process usually take?

I dont even know why they are inspecting it at my ffl as soon as the log it in the book I can pick it up

Hi Li and welcome. This should not take more than a few minutes. They are actually entering the firearm info in their inventory in preparation for transfer to you. My FFL does this in minutes, but it can depend on how busy they are. They should call you in soon. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
