I think the "target" trigger was a standard trigger that they gave a little extra attention to mine is better that the standard 10/22 s I owned

Ruger calls it a Target trigger from review "Ruger equipped the 10/22 Target with…wait for it…a target trigger. With a light pull and little creep or over-travel, it's a much better trigger than ships with a standard 10/22 carbine.
