Hi Larry and welcome. Yes Sir, All Rock Island pistols are +P rated. Due to higher pressures, please increase maintenance and inspection frequency due to possible accelerated wear and tear. If planning to use +P often, I recommend installing a higher lb recoil spring to reduce recoil and frame battering. Cheers and stay safe!

Absolutely yes!!! But...If you feed any firearm a steady diet of +P ammo you're gonna want to inspect internals more often & Increase cleaning intervals due to the higher pressured nature of +P ammunition.
