Hi Bart, H001 receivers are made of a zinc alloy called Zamak. The name ZAMAK draws upon the basic metallurgy of the alloy group: Z-Zinc, A-Aluminum, MA-Magnesium, and K-Kopper ( German). Stay safe & have a great day!

Hi Mark and welcome. Unfortunately, this Henry has a "Pot Metal" Receiver. Both the receiver and receiver cover are an alloy-and non-magnetic. Cheers and stay safe!
