Increased Cycling Speed: The kit includes a stronger buffer spring (the black-end spring) to help speed up the bolt cycling, which is crucial for preventing hammer follow (where the hammer follows the bolt forward before the bolt is fully in battery). Tuning Flexibility: The second, even stronger, silver spring allows for further adjustment and fine-tuning of the cycling speed, catering to different AR platforms and calibers. Optimal Performance: By offering these two spring options, Franklin Armory aims to ensure that the BFSIII trigger system can be optimized for a wide range of AR builds and shooting scenarios.
