Hi Richard, yes sir, the GF AR12 will fire rifled slugs no issues. Having a smoothbore barrel, you want rifled slugs. The Improved Cylinder choke usually gives best results with slugs, just don't fire slugs through the Full choke. Stay safe & have a great day!
