Hi Clyde and welcome. In straight forward terms, you do not own a firearm (although you paid for it) until the transfer paperwork is completed at your selected FFL Dealer. Always thoroughly inspect the firearm to make sure everything is good before you complete Federal Form 4473. Any firearm can be returned before this happens. Once the transfer is complete, you now own the "Used" firearm and it is not returnable to Buds and you would deal directly with the manufacturer for any issue. Cheers and stay safe!
