The Kimber Stainless Steel Pro Carry II is not a Series 70 or a Series 80 pistol, but rather it uses a Kimber Series II design, which is a variation of the Colt Series 80 firing pin safety system. Kimber's Series II schwartz safety design incorporates a firing pin safety, but it's a variation of the Colt Series 80 system, not a direct copy. Cheers and stay safe!
