I thought you could have a catastrophic explosion if you used these interchangeably but the product description includes both calibers. Any ideas?

It will feed .223, 5.56 and 300bo with no problem. Same casing.

The magazine will cycle both .223 /5.56 and 300blk . Its your rifles cyber that decides which round to use. Hope this clarify's your question.

.223, 5.56 and 300bo all use the same magazine load it with what the rifle is chambered for
