Hi Valdemar, the one with the 17" barrel you linked to has a MSRP of $777 and the 18" model https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/105353/magnum+research+magnum+lite+switchbolt+18+22+long+rifle+semi+auto+rifle , has a MSRP of $726, so naturally the 17" will be priced higher. The reason is the 17" model has a carbon barrel and the 18" model has an aluminum tensioned barrel. Stay safe & have a great day!
