Hi Thomas and welcome. Yes, it is. Don't know about production but the pistols share the rifle action. Just shorter barrels with a pistol grip. Cheers and stay safe!

The 6.5 creedmore is based on a necked down .308 Winchester so that being said yes the action is strong enough but Idk if they will chamber them  in either 7-08 or .308.
