Hi Joshua and welcome. Unfortunately, everyone has different eyes and or levels of vision, so the answer is relative to the individual. In general, closed emitter red dots are more forgiving on astigmatism than open emitter unless they are specifically calibrated for astigmatism such as the Cyelee Wolf-2 . Hi Joshua, there is no one size fits all answer. SiG has some proprietary technology built into the Romeo M17. Some of that technology also has the benefits of playing more nicely with people whose eyes have the astigmatism. It may or may not be good for you. Stay safe & have a great day!
