John, this is a "Gen4" Glock G43. --- It comes with (2) Magazines (1 Flat Base, 1 with Finger Extension). Unboxing video here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf33uxv9gLk

It came out while gen 4 was in production but it shares a lot of features of gen 5 such as the different firing pin safety plunger, trigger return spring, and no finger grooves. It's also the first version of a 43 and the slide isn't marked a specific gen so one could argue it's a gen1 43. You could email glock but i'de bet they'de call it a gen4.
