The title says 1911-A1, but the picture and description show/describe a WW1 1911. Is this an A1 or pre-A1? I'm mostly concerned about the frame, if that matters.

This is an 1911-A1. An A-1 has a flat back strap the 1911 has a back strap with the curve.

The 1911 is a model favored by gun enthusiasts of many varieties. It was the standard issue side arm for the U.S. Armed Forces from 1911 to 1986.
