Does a heat treated mean that the surface of the metal is hardened, it has no finish to help it not to rust easily or is it subject to rust easier than a blued or nickel finished pistol?

Hi Tracy, this has white heat-treated steel. It's not unfinished. They've been blued and then the outer layer of oxide is polished off. They have the same corrosion resistance as any other blued gun, yet look like stainless.
