also be aware that the sig has a more modern type external extractor. To a 1911 purest that is a big "NO" to me as a shooter I see it as a plus. Also Colt is now owned by CZ. Just get the one YOU like the most

I agree with James this boils down to personal preference.

See if your local FFL has them, see how each feels, looks, etc. Then make YOUR decision. It's all a Matter of personal preference.
