Hi Jerre and welcome. This model has a moderate rack effort. Most folks hold the pistol steady and use the offhand to singularly rack slide. The trick is to simultaneously push the grip hand forward while pulling the slide with the offhand to evenly distribute the force between both hands. Cheers and stay safe!

Any 1911 in 9mm will be easier to rack just because of the weight of the recoil spring. If you prefer one in 45 or 10mm You can get recoil springs of various weights from Wolff Gun Springs, and that will reduce the amount of effort needed to manually operate the slide.
