Has anyone else had the vinyl to prematurely wear through and mar the finish on your delta or slip ring, as happened to me? I solved the problem by purchasing a 5/16" x 10 piece of clear vinyl tubing from Home Depot for around 6 beans. Using scissors, I cut two pieces 8" long and with the help of a bit of silicon spray, slid the vinyl on the handles. They work well now, wish I'd done it before using and marring my gray slip ring on my A1 retro build.
