I had a similar post earlier today but now I am confused. In the description it describes "The barrel is a true SOCOM 14.5 heavy barrel" Does that not mean that it's an HBAR barrel and therefore compliant with the state of MD?

This is a heavy profile barrel m4 socom barrel. Not a true HBar a true HBar Under the handguards diameter is 1.0" from Barrel Extension to 1" before gas block, there is a 10 degree chamfer to a diameter of .850"
- Gas block diameter is .750" for a length of 1.875".   It steps down to .740/ .745" all the way to the muzzle crown or threads.
- Target muzzle is 11 degree crown.
- Threaded muzzle is .620" long by .500" diameter.   Threads are 1/2 x 28tpi for a length of .500" / .510".
