It looks to be a midsize 509, but the model # on this listing does not come up at all on the FN website, and I can't seem to tell the difference between this listing and other midsize 509 listings for hundreds of dollars more?

Hi Zach and welcome. This is the midsized 4-inch barrel model. The price difference has more to do with number of each in stock as Buds prices are tied to stock level. Higher stock same or similar items will be lower priced than lower stock same or similar items and vice versa. Cheers, stay safe ad enjoy!
