Hi Mayra and thanks for the clarification. With that protrusion and short handguard past that, an angled grip would sit too far forward as you stated. You best option is to change out the handguard. Hi Mayra, that is correct. If you don't want it all the way up front, you will need to change the handguard. Or if you are mechanically inclined and good with hand tools, you may be able to make something work. Without having the actual gun in hand, it is hard to recommend a hack to make this work. Changing out the handguard would be your best bet.
