Hi Douglas, the 940 Pro Tactical handles low brass just fine. In today's world of shotgun shells, the height of the brass does not directly correlate to the power of the load. It's important to remember that the composition, not the height of the brass, determines the power of the shell. Some high-brass shells might contain the same load as low-brass shells, and vice versa. The velocity of the projectiles, the number of shots, and their size, are the important things to note about a shotgun round. Stay safe & have a great day!
