Hi Phil and welcome. Yes, it can. Most of these blems are tiny imperfections in the metal finish. These could be small spots of discoloration or dullness spots. According to reviews from other vendor websites, some owners are unable to find the blemish. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
The Grips between the Viper & Colt Python are NOT interchangeable. When it comes to "blem" models, these Blemishes can be a tiny scuff, unpolished area or something so miniscule you may not even find it.
sorry the grips do not interchange between the viper and python Most Blems are hard to find. i love buying Blems as my guns are "working" guns and not "safe" queens

Hi Phil, no, the Colt Python and Viper do not use the same grips. The Python has a different grip frame compared to the Viper, which means they are not interchangeable. The blemish is barely noticeable, in some cases it is very hard to see. It is usually a small imperfection in the finish. Stay safe & have a great day!
