how is this ammo compared to underwood extreme penetrators for dealing with black bears on the property ? (not hunting just protecting people on the property )

Hi Shawn and welcome. These have a higher muzzle energy of 533 ft/lbs compared to the Underwood 444 ft/lbs but the Extreme Penetrator bullet design will have similar overall penetration through thick bone and muscle with less recoil for faster fo;;ow up shots. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
