Hi I'd say 5.56 ammo unless it says 223 because they are little different some guns .will miss fire and jam up. I use any ammo my wallet can afford at times .77 grain best long range 55grains good for 150yards after that bullets light .ull start chasing it if ur sighting in long ranges
