Hi Daniel and welcome. No, the Kahr X9 does not use standard Kahr P9 magazines. The X9 is designed to use double-stack magazines, while the P9 uses single-stack magazines. The X9 is compatible with Sig Sauer P365 and Springfield Armory Hellcat magazines, as well as Kahr's own double-stack magazines. Cheers and stay safe!
