Hi Greg, The 68 grain bullet can shoot well out of a 1-9 twist barrel, but it may not perform optimally; a faster twist rate, like 1-8 or 1-7, is generally recommended for better stabilization of heavier bullets. Many users have reported sub-MOA accuracy with 68 grain bullets in a 1-9 twist, but results can vary. Stay safe & have a great day!
Hi Greg and welcome. There will be no issues with accuracy in most 1:9 twist rate barrels. An excellent chart here: -- https://www.ammoman.com/blog/5-56-twist-rate-chart/ ------------- Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
Good afternoon to you!! A 68 grain bullets will stabilize out of a 1:9 barrel, it's not the optimal twist but it will work fine. Have a good weekend.
